High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (at MIN – $11,500): Needs 47.7 fantasy points. It’s Harden. You know what you’re getting from him on a nightly basis. In a competitive game, which this should be, he’s good for at least value. The ball is in his hands the majority of the game and he can do a bit of everything when it comes to fantasy numbers. There’s always a reason to take Harden. Diagnosis: You can always build around him because he almost always delivers.

Bradley Beal (at NY – $8,100): Needs 33.6 fantasy points. Beal has been under 27 fantasy points in his last two games. He only played 19 minutes in one game, but played 43 minutes against the Nets and still didn’t deliver. He’s not shooting well from deep and his assist numbers are down, which is a bit of a concern. But trust him to pick up his game against the Knicks because it’s the Knicks. Diagnosis: Great matchup and a good ceiling. He’ll bounce back.

D’Angelo Russell (vs CLE – $7,800): Needs 32.3 fantasy points. Russell was down to 21.9 fantasy points against the Wizards, but I’m not too concerned. It was a rough set of circumstances and the Nets were due to a letdown following their double OT outing. With the day off, they should be back in business against the lowly Cavaliers. Russell has delivered more often than not with LeVert out of the lineup and there’s plenty to like in this matchup. Diagnosis: He’ll bounce back in a big way.
