Players costing $6,667 or under

Darren Collison (vs CHI – $6,600): Needs 27.7 fantasy points. Collison had 45.8 fantasy points against the Kings on Dec. 1. He’s been over 30 fantasy point in four straight and has definitely turned the corner after his rough start. The Bulls are a great matchup, even though I expect them to play better given that they just fired their coach. Still, their defense leaves a lot to be desired and Collison will get his numbers. Diagnosis: Trust the matchup and the way Collison has been playing with Oladipo out.

J.J Barea (vs POR – $5,900): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. Barea was up to 33 fantasy points against the Clippers on Dec. 2. Doncic being out of the lineup helped his value, but he’s been delivering for weeks. So, even with Doncic returning on Tuesday, you should still trust that Barea will get his numbers. The Blazers can be a tough matchup, but they are slumping right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Cory Joseph (vs CHI – $4,400): Needs 18.4 fantasy points. Joseph continues to get solid minutes with Oladipo out of the lineup. And he’s delivering on those minutes, doing a bit of everything in the boxscore. His salary is good given the minutes he plays and the matchup is great given that it’s the Bulls. Diagnosis: Low-cost, reliable, great matchup, good ceiling. You can pair him up with Collison and feel comfortable at the position.
