77. . 16-7. Previous: 5th. Los Angeles Clippers. 5. team

Tobias Harris won the NBA’s Western Conference Player of the Month in November, an honor that he absolutely earned — averages of 22.1 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.6 assists per month, shooting 54.4 percent from the field and 47.8 percent on 3-pointers. His evolution into a hyper-efficient primary scorer has scaffolded Los Angeles’ offense, which is averaging 113.4 points per 100 possessions with him on the floor.

The interesting thing about this Clippers roster is how much dead weight it still holds — Avery Bradley, Milos Teodosic, Marcin Gortat — and how much a potential trade later in the season could raise their ceiling for a deep playoff run. Another long shooter on the wing could change all sorts of things for what has already been one of the best teams in the West.
