Running Back: Phillip Lindsay, Denver Broncos

@ San Francisco 49ers, Sunday 4:05pm

FanDuel Price: $7,900

After another impressive week, Phillip Lindsay has cemented himself as one of the more impressive rookies. He’s a well-rounded runner who is a perfect fit for the Denver Broncos style of attack.

His ability to contribute int he passing game significantly increases his fantasy value. Lindsay faces a struggling San Francisco 49ers defense this weekend. He’s someone I’d want in my lineup in this type of matchup.

Of course, Royce Freeman still lurks in the background ready to potentially steal away a goal line carry. Freeman’s usage has put a small kink in Lindsay’s overall fantasy value.

Despite Freeman’s presence, Lindsay sits as a strong RB1 start as most leagues head into the playoffs.

Running Back: Gus Edwards, Baltimore Ravens

@ Kansas City Chiefs, Sunday 1:00pm

FanDuel Price: $6,400

This week is another favorable matchup for Gus Edwards and the Baltimore Ravens running game. The Kansas City Chiefs run defense ranks near the bottom of the NFL allowing over 120 rushing yards per game.

Baltimore knows their offense can’t keep pace with the high scoring Kansas City offensive attack. So, it’s likely they will try to control the clock with their ground game.

Edwards has been a powerful force on the ground showing the ability to grind out the tough yards. He figures to get plenty of work this weekend as the Ravens try to keep the ball out of the hands of Patrick Mahomes.
