INDIANAPOLIS, IN – FEBRUARY 11: Emmanuel Mudiay /

High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Emmanuel Mudiay (at BOS – $5,700): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. No Trey Burke means more Emmanuel Mudiay. I don’t know if that’s a good thing for bad thing for the Knicks. He’s shown a high ceiling this season and we know the offense is there for him. But the matchup is tough with Boston’s defense. Diagnosis: Not an ideal matchup, but the minutes and chances will be there if nothing else.

Marcus Smart (vs NY – $4,400): Needs 20 fantasy points. Smart has been solid since being inserted into the starting lineup, going over 22 fantasy points in his last three games. His minutes might be down in this one, but he can do a bit of everything and his value gets a boost with his defense. His defense should be there in this game. Diagnosis: Gets the minutes and reliable at this salary.

De’Anthony Melton (at POR – $4,200): Needs 19.1 fantasy points. Melton is going to get a real opportunity now with Booker and Warren out of the lineup. He produced 34 fantasy points against the Kings on Dec. 4. As long as he continues to get minutes, he’ll be a good option at this salary. The Suns aren’t good, but someone has to produce fantasy points for them. Diagnosis: Good salary and he’s getting minutes and chances due to the circumstances.
