4. Manchester City held by Chelsea in 2-2 draw

At the top of the table, the biggest game of the weekend sees Manchester City travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea. City have been almost unplayable this season while Chelsea had a fantastic start, but their form has dipped a little of late.

Maurizio Sarri’s men are still in a great position considering this is his first season managing in the Premier League. The Blues will know the threat Pep Guardiola’s side possess but they’ll also know that at Stamford Bridge they can definitely win this match.

Chelsea haven’t lost at the Bridge this season and they can perhaps take confidence from Manchester City’s performance at Watford in midweek. City looked to be cruising but showed a little complacency and almost dropped points by giving the Hornets chances late on.

Guardiola would have been angry with the way his side finished that game but ultimately he can’t complain too much as his side have had very few lapses in concentration this season. It’s unlikely the Citizens will lose any focus this weekend considering the importance of this game.

City are 10 points ahead of Chelsea in the table and only Liverpool look like challenging the Manchester side. However, a win in this game will distance themselves from Chelsea and leave the Reds as their main title challenger.

This game is incredibly hard to call, especially considering the venue of Stamford Bridge. In the past five matches, both sides have two wins each with one draw keeping this head-to-head very close. It’s hard to imagine both teams won’t find the back of the net either.

That means neutral soccer fans could be in for a bit of a treat on Saturday with plenty of goals in a tense match. Both sides will score in both halves and there will be nothing to separate them come the final whistle. This one will finish 2-2 and Manchester City’s unbeaten streak will continue.
