INDIANAPOLIS, IN – FEBRUARY 11: Emmanuel Mudiay /

High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Emmanuel Mudiay (vs CHA – $6,100): Needs 28.1 fantasy points. Mudiay had just 19.75 fantasy points against the Nets on Saturday. There’s always a risk when ti comes to Mudiay because he’s just not all that good and the Knicks rotation is all over the place. But the minutes and opportunities are typically there, which counts for something. Diagnosis: High ceiling and minutes are typically there, but this salary is a bit too high given his reliability.

Malcolm Brogdon (at TOR – $5,800): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. Brogdon continues to be a reliable option at this salary. He had 28.75 fantasy points against the Warriors on Dec. 7. The scoring and rebounding is typically there for him and he chips in with assists. The matchup is tough, but the minutes and opportunities are there for him. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, tough matchup. But get him now before George Hill enters the lineup and throws off his value.

Tony Parker (at NY – $4,100): Needs 18.9 fantasy points. Parker was up to 34.5 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Dec. 7. He’s a big boom-or-bust player. His highs are high and his lows are pretty low. Given that it’s the Knicks, he should be up in this game. The minutes are typically there and he could find some extra playing time if this one turns ugly. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, great matchup.
