52. . Quarterback. Oregon. Justin Herbert. 7. player

The terrible season that has been for the Jacksonville Jaguars is thankfully coming to an end, but there will be a ton of questions heading into next season. The biggest question of them all is who will be the team’s starting quarterback, as it currently is Cody Kessler, who took over for the wildly ineffective Blake Bortles a couple of weeks back.

Bortles, nor Kessler, are the answer in Jacksonville, who has a roster that is built for the playoffs right now. Unfortunately, you cannot win in this league without a good quarterback, and while the Jaguars have committed to Bortles in the past, you have to think that his run as the savior in Jacksonville is over.

When it comes time for the Jaguars to draft next April, they should look to bring in a quarterback, and Justin Herbert from Oregon is the best of the bunch. Sure, if the Jaguars are picking at No. 7, he could be gone, as teams may decide to move up to get him if he actually declares early for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Herbert has not stated whether or not he will return to Oregon as of this date, but if he is available in the draft, the Jaguars would strike gold at No. 7 by taking him. He is a guy that is going to be a tremendous player at the NFL level, and with the Jags, he would be inheriting a roster that could bring him a ton of wins early in his career.
