Players costing $6,667 or under

Tim Frazier (vs MIA – $5,800): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. Frazier has been over 30 fantasy points in He’s playing big minutes as the starting point guard and the Pelicans have a very good offense. Frazier has proven himself nicely and while the Heat are a relatively tough matchup, Frazier is at a good salary based on how well he’s been playing and the minutes he gets. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Emmanuel Mudiay (at IND – $5,600): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. Mudiay had 40.1 fantasy points against the Cavaliers and 52.6 fantasy points against the Hornets. But that was the Cavaliers and Hornets. The Pacers are a much tougher matchup. But we know Mudiay is going to get minutes (maybe, the Knicks rotations are weird) and opportunities. We also know that he’s a high ceiling guy. THe matchup make him a risk, but everything else is in his favor. Diagnosis: Slight risk because the Pacers are very good. But the ceiling is high.

Fred VanVleet (at DEN – $5,000): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. VanVleet has been over 30 fantasy points in two out of his three games in which he has started. He’s playing big minutes as the starter and if Kyle Lowry is out once again, VanVleet should continue to roll on. The matchup is tough, but the Raptors are a good team and the starting point guard plays a big role. And this is a good salary for a starting point guard who can deliver like he can. Diagnosis: Take with confidence if he draws the start once again.
