Players costing over $6,250

James Harden (at NO – $11,400): Needs 52.3 fantasy points. It’s James Harden. Not only is it James Harden, but it’s also James Harden playing against a poor defensive team on a back-to-back. He’s going to get you at least 60 fantasy points and the ceiling is much higher. This feels like a double-double game and another strong scoring night with plenty of 3s. Take him with supreme confidence with the way he’s playing right now. Diagnosis: Very reliable, great matchup, and a high ceiling.

Steph Curry (at POR – $9,300): Needs 42.6 fantasy points. Curry has been over 50 fantasy points in two of his last three games. Granted, he was down to 27.5 fantasy points in the other game. But this is a matchup he typically plays well against and he’s still Steph Curry. Aside from the Christmas game, the shooting has been there for him. The Warriors are going through things, but they are still the Warriors. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Bradley Beal (vs CHA – $7,900): Needs 35.9 fantasy points. As long as Wall is out of the lineup, you can take Beal with confidence. He had 54.75 fantasy points against the Bulls on Friday. With Wall out of the lineup, he’s the top option and a strong top option at that. Points won’t be an issue for him and he typically does more with his playmaking and rebounding with Wall out. Diagnosis: Reliable with Wall, higher ceiling without him.
