Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (vs CLE – $12,600): Needs 53.3 fantasy points. It’s James Harden. His salary actually isn’t climbing, which is great, but he always needs a big game. And he’s been delivering big games. The one concern with this one is bit being a blowout. But the Cavaliers can be scrappy so there is a chance that they are able to hang around long enough for Harden to keep doing his thing. Diagnosis: A blowout is in play. But otherwise, take with confidence.

Luka Doncic (at MIN – $8,200): Needs 34.7 fantasy points. Doncic has been over 44 fantasy points in his last two games. I’m a little bit worried about how he’s going to play on the road because he’s been better at home. But I’ll trust him in this matchup as the Timberwolves defense is still suspect. And Doncic is not your typical rookie. You can also look at Mitchell in this spot. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Khris Middleton (at WAS – $7,200): Needs 30.4 fantasy points. As of thes writing, Giannis is listed as probable. That means he’s likely to play, but it’s possible the Bucks hold him out because it’s the Wizards. If Giannis doesn’t play, take Middleton with confidence. And even if Giannis does play, Middleton is a reliable option, which counts for something. Diagnosis: Reliable with a much higher ceiling if Giannis is out.
