High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Derrick White (at OKC – $5,400): Needs 25 fantasy points. White had 46.75 fantasy points in the double OT game against the Thunder. He’s been very consistent for the Spurs since moving to the starting lineup. There’s very little chance that the rematch is as good as the original, but I trust White to deliver. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

De’Anthony Melton (vs DEN – $4,800): Needs 22.4 fantasy points. With Booker out of the lineup, Melton continues to get more opportunities. His minutes are all over the place, but he’s still the primary assist man and he chips in with scoring and a handful of rebounds. As long as Booker remains out, Melton should continue to deliver. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.

Malik Beasley (at PHO – $4,400): Needs 20.4 fantasy points. Beasley had 31.25 fantasy points against the Clippers on Jan. 10. He’s been fairly strong this season although with the Nuggets getting healthy, I don’t know how consistent he’ll be. He does well with his scoring and playmaking and it’s the Suns. He’s also at a good salary. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a good ceiling.
