Players costing $6,667 or under

Derrick White (at OKC – $5,600): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. White had 48 fantasy points in the double OT game against the Thunder on Thursday. He’s been fairly reliable for the Spurs since becoming a starter and he’s shown a high ceiling. This game won’t deliver like the original, but I trust White to chip in with his usual numbers. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Bryn Forbes (at OKC – $4,600): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. And if you don’t like White or just want to pair the duo, here is his partner in crime. Much like White, Forbes has been a reliable player and he’s flashed a high ceiling. Again, I’ve loved pairing both of them because they are going to get you value at the very least and there’s a good chance that one of them hits big. Diagnosis: Same as White.

De’Anthony Melton (vs DEN – $4,400): Needs 18.7 fantasy points. Melton had 26.6 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Jan. 9. With Booker out of the lineup, he’ll continue to get solid minutes and opportunities. The matchup can be tough if the Nuggets defense gets back on track and it’s not like the Suns are great. But he’s a good salary given his usual minutes and production. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and fairly reliable at this salary.
