High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Jrue Holiday (at MIN – $8,600): Needs 36.5 fantasy points. Holiday has been reliable during this recent stretch, even if the Pelicans haven’t needed him like usual with Payton back in the lineup. The Timberwolves are on a back-to-back and quite frankly just aren’t very good. But the Pelicans aren’t good on the road and the Timberwolves should keep this one competitive enough for Holiday to post a strong game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell (vs CHI – $8,100): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. Mitchell had 57.3 fantasy points against the Lakers on Friday. Both teams are on a back-to-back, so no big concerns there. And with Rubio out of the lineup, Mitchell has really raised his game. The matchup is another good one and I’m all in on Mitchell right now with the way he’s running the offense. Diagnosis: I love him once again.

Zach LaVine (at UTA – $6,900): Needs 29.3 fantasy points. Not a whole lot to love after the top two options so lets group them all together. Wiggins has the best matchup, but he only plays well against the Thunder and Cavaliers. Hield has a good matchup, but he’s a bit cold right now. LaVine has the best salary, but also the toughest matchup. All three are similar in that their value is tied to their scoring. Throw a dart and take your pick. Diagnosis: An option.
