High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Jimmy Butler (vs MIN – $7,600): Needs 34.8 fantasy points. I haven’t loved Butler’s game in Philly as it’s been all over the place. But this should be his game. This is the game for the rest of the Sixers to get out of the way and let Butler feast. It’s possible Butler rewards his new teammates to show he likes them better, but then he wouldn’t be Jimmy Butler, now would he? Diagnosis: This is his game. I have no doubt about his production in this one.

Khris Middleton (vs MIA – $6,800): Needs 31.1 fantasy points. With or without Giannis, Middleton has become a reliable option against. He had 36.25 fantasy points in 28 minutes against the Hawks on Jan. 13. He does a bit of everything and the Bucks will need him to step up in this one. If Giannis plays, he’s more reliable. If Giannis sits, his ceiling is higher. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling depending on the status of Giannis.

Brandon Ingram (vs CHI – $6,600): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. I still don’t love Ingram’s game and I really don’t know what you’re going to get out of him. But he had 33.25 fantasy points against the Cavaliers and played very well against the Bulls last season, averaging 40.5 fantasy points in two games. I’m going to trust him in this game. And that’s probably a mistake. Diagnosis: Going against everything I know about Ingram and saying he’ll produce in this game.
