Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (vs BKN – $14,000): Needs 60.2 fantasy points. Is this salary too high for James Harden? Maybe. But I’m also not going against James Harden right now. He’s been too good and will have to be even better with all the injuries. He’s going to take as many shots as he wants and he’ll chip in with rebounds and assists. There’s a lot to like at the shooting guard position so if you don’t want to commit that much money to Harden, I can’t blame you. But look, he’s unstoppable right now. Diagnosis: Guaranteed 60-plus fantasy points.

Luka Doncic (vs SA – $8,700): Needs 37.4 fantasy points. Luka had 38.7 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 13. He had 46.6 fantasy points against the Spurs on Oct. 29 although that was a much different Spurs team. Still, I’m not doubting Luka at this point. He’s been too good this season to think he’ll fall off. The salary is good and the Mavericks are good at home. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jrue Holiday (at GS – $8,600): Needs 37 fantasy points. Holiday is always a reliable option at an affordable price. The Warriors are on a back-to-back which should help Holiday’s cause on Wednesday. Much like Luka, I have no doubt about the game of Holiday right now. He does a bit of everything and can always have a huge game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
