High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Darren Collison (vs TOR – $6,200): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. Collison was up to 40.1 fantasy points against the Hornets on Jan. 20. He’s stepped up his game with Oladipo struggling and deferring a bit on a deep Pacers team. The Raptors are on a back-to-back although that hasn’t really slowed them up this season. Collison hasn’t been good against the Raptors this season which concerns me a bit. But I’m going to trust him to be better here. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Derrick White (at PHI – $5,400): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. White has been a bit down in his last couple of games but his salary has dropped, the minutes are still there and he can do a bit of everything. I also like the matchup as the Sixers are thin on depth, especially if Butler and Simmons are out of the lineup. Expect White to have a bounce back in this one. If nothing else, he’s a reliable option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Terry Rozier (vs CLE – $4,500): Needs 19.1 fantasy points. Alright, let me explain. Rozier is not good in terms of DFS. I know you. You know it. We all know it. He’s not reliable and has been a dud far too often this season. If you want more reliable value, look at the guys mentioned above or literally anyone listed above Rozier. But this could be a blowout. And if it’s a blowout, Rozier is going to get minutes. And he does produce when given minutes. If you’re as confident as I am in the blowout, take a chance on Rozier. Diagnosis: You have to be very confident in a blowout to take him. Because he usually stinks.
