The Houston Texans were one of the hottest teams in football for most of the 2018 NFL season, as a reeled off nine straight ninth victories en-route to the AFC South title. In the playoffs, the Texans had to take on fellow AFC South foe Indianapolis, and ended up losing in the Wild Card round to Andrew Luck and company.

When it comes to the Texans roster, they have some of the best young talent of any team in the NFL on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Deshaun Watson proved in 2018 that he is going to be an absolute star in this league, but the team needs to do a better job of putting big bodies in front of him to protect him.

When it comes time for them to select in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Texans should look to bring in a player that can help them along a very weak offensive line. Dalton Risner from Kansas State is a guy who can play all along the offensive line, and is coming off and All-American season playing for the Wildcats.

Risner is a guy who can play center and offensive guard, as well as left tackle, and the Texans need to bring in as many bodies as they can to put in front of Watson. Houston has a chance to be one of the best teams in the AFC for a very long time, but they will only go as far as Watson will take them, and the priority has to be keeping him healthy for the foreseeable future.
