FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 5, 2019
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,667
Jimmy Butler (vs TOR – $8,600): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.3 fantasy points against Sacramento. Butler has been fairly reliable in recent games, only missing value against the Warriors. He’s averaging 49.2 fantasy points in three games against the Raptors this season. The Sixers will need his scoring ability since Ben Simmons can’t shoot and the Raptors will force tough shots. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Lou Williams (at CHA – $7,700): Needs 33.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.9 fantasy points against Toronto. Williams was down against the Raptors but it was a blowout and the Clippers were on a back-to-back. Chalk it up to an off night and expect him to be better. He had been on a roll prior to the Raptors game and this should be a high scoring affair. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
CJ McCollum (vs MIA – $7,500): Needs 32.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.1 fantasy points against Utah. McCollum is hot right now and with Nurkic out of the lineup, it’s been the Costco Splash Brothers (sorry Blazers fans) who have carried Portland. Miami is on a west coast trip and this is the first game of the trip. Typically a rough outing for teams traveling across the country. McCollum will deliver once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
