1. C.J. Mosley, ILB Baltimore Ravens

Current Broncos inside linebacker, Brandon Marshall, had a great run in Denver. Now, it seems highly likely that his time as a Bronco is up.

Moving on from Marshall would help relieve the team financially and free up some more cap space. the 29-year old just finished up his sixth season with the team, where he was a member of the Super Bowl winning team.

There is one specific free agent that would fill Marshall’s shoes easily, and that is C.J. Mosley. Mosley has been a member of the Baltimore Ravens since they drafted him in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft out of Alabama.

Now, Mosley gets set to walk into free agency. Well, that is if the Ravens decide not to slap the franchise tag on the four-time Pro Bowl linebacker.

If Mosley doesn’t get tagged, he immediately becomes the top inside linebacker on the market. Spotrac.com currently has his market value just a shade under $10 million a year. Realistically, that number isn’t that high for the caliber of player he is.

Of course, that number could be off, and Mosley may get more. However, the price is worth it. In five seasons, Mosley has racked up 100+ combined tackles four times with 8.5 total sacks and nine interceptions. Since 2014, he has 597 combined tackles and 398 solo tackles, which is the third best in both categories behind Luke Kuechly and Bobby Wagner.

Mosley would anchor the defense up the middle and add another piece to the team’s talented defense.
