FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 21, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Damian Lillard (at BKN – $10,100): Needs 43.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.6 fantasy points against Golden State. Lillard was hot going into the break and should remain hot coming out of the break if his play in the game is any indication. He has a good matchup against the Nets and I am expecting this to feature plenty of offense and DFS points scored. And Lillard is the best player on the court, which certainly helps. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kyrie Irving (at MIL – $9,600): Needs 41.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.2 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Pay no attention to Kyrie’s last game. He played only 14 minutes before leaving with an injury. He’s healthy now and was rolling prior to the injury against the Clippers. The matchup is tough but this is the kind of game where Irving will have a big impact because he can get points better than anyone else on Boston and create for others. Expect him to return to form. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Steph Curry (vs SAC – $9,500): Needs 41.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.4 fantasy points against Portland. It’s an all chalk night at the high salary point guard position. These guys are All-Stars for a reason and all have good matchups for one reason or another. Curry is averaging 55.7 fantasy points in two games against the Kings this season. The pace will be up and very few keep up the pace like Curry, especially if he ends up shooting the lights out. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
