High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (at LAL – $12,600): Needs 54.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51 fantasy points against Minnesota. It’s James Harden. You know he’s going to get you 30 points and around 50 fantasy points. Especially against this Lakers defense. If Clint Capela returns, that will boost Harden’s assists. The points will be there because no matter what he says, he desperately wants to score 30 points every night. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

D’Angelo Russell (vs POR – $9,200): Needs 40 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.4 fantasy points against Cleveland. Russell rolled into the All-Star break and hopefully being around fellow superstars gives him a burst of even more confidence. It’s a tough matchup but he’s been strong against tough matchups in the past and remains the top option on the Nets. Though with LeVert getting healthy and Dinwiddie possibly coming back, there are some red flags. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (vs SAC – $7,000): Needs 30.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.8 fantasy points against Portland. As always, you typically know what you’re getting from Klay. The shots will be there and this is a game where he’ll get even more shots due to the pace the Kings play at. He’s averaging 37.6 fantasy points in three games against the Kings this season. There should be plenty of offense to go around in this contest. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
