3. Trent Brown, OT, New England Patriots

According to footballoutsiders.com, the Falcons ranked 24th in run blocking and 14th in pass protection. Ryan was sacked 42 times, the 13th highest total in the NFL last season.

Yes, Freeman was hurt, but Tevin Coleman was healthy. Therefore, the teams 27th ranked rushing offense can be attributed much more to the humdrum offensive line play.

Currently, the only locks on that unit are left tackle Jake Matthews who received a 79.2 ranking, and center Alex Mack who was given a 77.5 ranking. Ryan Schraeder, Brandon Fusco and Andy Levitre are players occupying spots that should be upgraded.

Trent Brown, member of the Super Bowl winning New England Patriots, should be the tackle that the Falcons bring in. Yes, he plays the same position that Matthews does, but Brown has some experience at right tackle.

Brown received a ranking of 71.0, and he played a critical position on one of the better offensive lines in the NFL in 2018. The Patriots were ranked third in run blocking and one in pass blocking.

The 25-year old has some more potential in him at such a young age. He played his first three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers before being traded to the Pats prior to this season.

It may be a tough task that requires some heavy lifting to pry Brown from the Patriots. But, with Isaiah Wynn coming back from injury, the Patriots may let Brown walk if his price is too high.
