FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 2, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Russell Westbrook (at SA – $11,700): Needs 54.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.4 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Paul George is currently listed as out for the Thunder. That could change by the time the game starts, but that’s all I have to go off as of this writing. No Paul George means a lot of Russell Westbrook. It might not be pretty with his scoring, but the numbers will be there without a question. The matchup is tough, but the Thunder just hang with anyone and everyone. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Steph Curry (at PHI – $9,400): Needs 41.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.6 fantasy points against Orlando. The Warriors are pretty disinterested in the regular season and it shows. But the Sixers beat them in Golden State the last time these two teams play and with the Sixers missing Embiid, the Warriors will probably want to get a little bit of payback. And that’s why I’m high on the Warriors on Saturday. Curry is typically a reliable option just based on the team he plays for. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Mike Conley (at DAL – $8,000): Needs 35.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.8 fantasy points against Chicago. Conley is still playing his tail off despite having nothing to play for and now he has a good matchup against the Mavericks. I’m not a huge fan of the Grizzlies on most nights because their offense is pretty ugly but Conley has been playing well and the Mavericks don’t offer much in terms of defense. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
