High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Russell Westbrook (vs MEM – $11,600): Needs fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.8 fantasy points against San Antonio. It’s Russell Westbrook without Paul George. Which means it’s going to be a lot of Russell Westbrook. It’s a back-to-back for both teams but the Thunder are at home, where they typically play well. And Westbrook always brings the energy. You can always count on Westbrook to put up numbers and the Thunder is a team in need of wins and Memphis is one of their easier opponents remaining. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Kyle Lowry (at DET – $8,200): Needs 36.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.4 fantasy points against Portland. Lowry is finding his rhythm a bit and now he has a good matchup against the Pistons. The Pistons are on a back-to-back but they didn’t have to exert much energy against the Cavaliers. Lowry will get his rebounds and assists, it’s just a matter of whether his shot is falling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Mike Conley (at OKC – $8,100): Needs 35.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 15.2 fantasy points against Dallas. You typically know what you’re getting out of Conley and he’ll bring his usual effort in this one. The Thunder aren’t a great team right now on the defensive end, especially with George out of the lineup. And Conley plays a typically reliable game, even on the back-to-back. I don’t like him as much as Lowry but if you want to save $100, he’s a strong option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
