High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

Trae Young (at MIA – $9,300): Needs 45.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.5 fantasy points against Chicago. Ignore the game against Chicago as Trae was ejected after 18 minutes. He was looking like himself prior to that and at least he got some reason ahead of this game against Miami. He’s been playing fantastic and he’ll probably have an extra gear after the extra rest. It’s a tough matchup but Young is red hot right now and shows no signs of slowing down. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell (vs NO – $8,300): Needs fantasy points. LAST GAME – fantasy points against . If you don’t want to spend quite so much on Trae Young, Mitchell is a great fallback option. He’s been scoring at will lately and he has a great matchup against the Pelicans, who play hard, but never play defense. And if Anthony Davis plays, that actually makes them worse. Mitchell is the focal point of the Jazz offense and he’ll get it done once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

De’Aaron Fox (vs NY – $7,500): Needs 36.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.25 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Fox has settled in nicely and hasn’t shown his ceiling in a while, but we know it’s there. And it’s the Knicks. The Knicks are awful and this road trip isn’t doing them any favors. The only concern, and it’s a very real concern, is that this ends up being a blowout and Fox doesn’t get the minutes he needs to have a huge game. But he’ll get enough minutes to at least give you value. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling
