High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Dennis Smith Jr (at SAC – $6,000): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.25 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Did I mention that the Knicks are awful? They’re on a back-to-back but Sunday was a blowout and the Knicks have a habit of getting blown out. But DSJ has dropped to a nice salary and the Kings are still a good matchup from a DFS perspective due to their pace. And we know DSJ can have a big game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Dwyane Wade (vs ATL – $5,000): Needs 23.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Wade hasn’t produced like he did in the Warriors game, but don’t be concerned. This is a great matchup given the way the Hawks plays and the Heat still need every win they can get. Because of that, Wade will pick his game back up in this one and return to form. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Derrick White (vs DEN – $4,900): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. I don’t know how White is at this salary after his last few games since being back from injury. He’s been a reliable option all season and looks back to normal based on what I saw against the Thunder. It’s a tough matchup but the Nuggets aren’t playing great right now, especially on the defensive end. And again, this salary is fantastic given White’s role and his usual production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
