DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – March 7, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs IND – $11,200): Needs 52.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.75 fantasy points against Phoenix. Once again, don’t put too much stock into that Suns game. Giannis will be Giannis in this one. It’s a national TV game and Giannis knows how much this means for a potential MVP case. And he doesn’t like losing. He’ll deliver in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Paul George (at POR – $9,700): Needs 45.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.75 fantasy points against Minnesota. George didn’t look right and hasn’t looked right, at least with his shooting in a few games. But he’s been very good against the Blazers this season, averaging 68.5 fantasy points in three games against them. He’s down right now, but he’s an MVP candidate for a reason. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Thaddeus Young (at MIL – $6,000): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.5 fantasy points against Chicago. Young continues to play reliable minutes for the Pacers. And with Sabonis out of the lineup, the Pacers will need him to keep this run going. It’s a tough matchup but there’s reason to think he can keep it going. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Moe Harkless (vs OKC – $4,200): Needs 19.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36 fantasy points against Memphis. Harkless has been outstanding for the Blazers recently and I’m shocked his salary hasn’t jumped more. He’s playing big minutes and can do a bit of everything on most nights. And the Thunder defense is ugly right now. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
