New England Patriots full 2019 NFL mock draft

The Patriots love them some fast 3-cone times at the cornerback position, and nobody was faster during the NFL Combine than Michigan cornerback David Long.
Long’s blazing 6.45 time in the 3-cone (along with a 39.5-inch vertical and 4.45 40 time) proved why he’s one of the most athletic corners in the draft, even if not the biggest or most physical.
With a background as a former wide receiver, Long could be the next player to step up in a line of unheralded, albeit solid, Patriots defensive backs.
7th round
Ferris State’s Devon Johnson is a massive (6-foot-7, 338 pounds) tackle prospect with the types of physical traits a team like the Patriots would love to get a chance to develop.
Johnson is likely a right tackle at the NFL level and will need to come a long ways in his development in order to stick on an NFL roster, but the Patriots can afford to be patient to see if their investment could be considered a seventh-round steal down the road.
With former Razorbacks head coach Bret Bielema now a part of Bill Belichick’s staff, the Patriots could turn to one of his former players with one of their seventh-round selections.
Linebacker Dre Greenlaw ended his Arkansas career with a remarkable 321 tackles and four forced fumbles and was an integral part of the team’s defense since his true freshman season.
Greenlaw has the size and speed to contribute on special teams right away and should be more than capable of holding his own at outside linebacker if New England is forced to deal with injuries at the position in the future.
Straight from the Patriots’ own backyard, Boston College safety Will Harris is a physical defensive back prospect who at the very least can contribute immediately on special teams.
Harris really helped himself at the Combine, with an impressive 4.41 40 time and 6.91 3-cone mark. That athleticism and tenacity as a tackler will lend itself well to special teams and allow him time to potentially develop into a starter at safety down the road.
One of Duke quarterback Daniel Jones’ most productive targets, wide receiver TJ Rahming would be a perfect fit for the Patriots offense out of the slot.
Rahming has electric quickness and an ability to make defenders miss after the catch. His monstrous 200+ yard bowl game performance put him on the map in the scouting community and he could very well be high on New England’s draft wish list.
