ACC

  • Dates: March 12-16
  • Location: Charlotte, NC
  • Top Seed: Virginia

If you’re looking for high-level basketball, the ACC Tournament will be appointment viewing this week. The conference has the potential to get three teams (Virginia, Duke, and North Carolina) on the one line in the NCAA Tournament.

Virginia, which memorably lost to 16-seed UMBC a year ago, will look to continue putting that bad memory in the past with another deep run in Charlotte. The hottest team in the league may well be North Carolina, which has won seven in a row entering the tournament, including a sweep of Duke.

The Blue Devils were the best team for most of the year, but they have played for the past several weeks without Zion Williamson. Williamson is expected to return for Duke’s first game on Thursday, giving the Blue Devils their most complete team since he got hurt.

Prediction: Duke
