The Philadelphia Eagles will go into the 2019 NFL season without Nick Foles, who is expected to sign a monster contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Foles had led this team to the playoffs the last two seasons, filling in for the injured Carson Wentz, and his two-year run included the Eagles first Super Bowl victory.

With Wentz as the only quarterback coming back, the Eagles have put all of their eggs in his basket, but he has shown he can be an elite quarterback in this league. The only issue with him has been his health, so it would make sense that the team would bring back Jason Peters on a one-year deal for 2019.

Even with Peters back in the fold, Philadelphia needs to continue to invest in the offensive line, and Andre Dillard from Washington State is one of the better offensive tackles in this draft class. He could learn a ton from Peters next season, and play as a swing tackle, before moving over to the left side when Peters retires.

Philadelphia has the talent to make another playoff run this season, and it will be interesting to see if Wentz can stay healthy for a full 16-game slate. There is a lot of work to be done in free agency, and with the draft, but Dillard is a  guy who they could project long-term as their anchor on this offensive line.
