Nick Bosa. 2. player. 42. . Edge. Ohio State

The San Francisco 49ers are a team that is in great position as they head into the 2019 NFL Draft, as they do not need a quarterback, and hold one of the top picks in round one. While they added talent to the edge already this offseason, that does not mean that they move out of the No. 2 spot in April, as there is elite talent to be had there.

In the entire 2019 NFL draft class, one name has stood out since before the previous college football season started, and that is Ohio State edge rusher Nick Bosa. In fact, some believe that Bosa could be a better pro than his brother, Joey, who was an NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year for the Los Angeles Chargers a few years back.

Bosa would give the 49ers a long-term answer at one of the more important position in the NFL now, and this 49ers team needs to keep stock-piling talent. They spent a ton of money on Jimmy Garoppolo two years ago, and while he is a talented quarterback, he has yet to prove he can stay healthy for an extended period of time.

John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan are entering year three of a five-year run as general manager and head coach, so the wins better start coming. The organization has made a point to get them the talent they want, and in Bosa, they could be looking at a guy who could be an elite talent in this league as early as year one.
