. Edge. Kentucky. Josh Allen. 3. player. 30

The New York Jets have been extremely busy this free agency period, signing players that are going to really help them next season, and beyond. They have brought in two elite players who play opposite sides of the ball, and with a new head coach in place, things seem to changing around this franchise.

C.J. Mosley is going to instantly make the Jets defense better, as he was one of the elite linebackers available this free agency period. In addition, the Jets added the crown jewel of this free agency class in running back Le’Veon Bell, who could end up being the guy that really turns this franchise around.

Earlier in free agency, it appears the Jets had locked down Anthony Barr as well, as he looked to be leaving Minnesota for New York. However, he decided to remain with the Vikings, leaving the Jets with a gaping hole in their pass rush, which is the area they need to focus their No. 3 overall pick in 2019 on.

Enter Josh Allen, an incredibly talented edge rusher who is fresh off a dominant last season for the Kentucky Wildcats in 2018. Allen is a guy who can get the edge, can play outside linebacker, and on this Jets defense, would be one of the missing pieces to a puzzle that could be one of the better overall units in the AFC East next season.
