2. Jonah Williams

Williams is another offensive lineman who splits scouts’ opinions over whether he’s a guard or a tackle. It’s safe to say more NFL executives trust his ability to play on the outside compared to Ford.

His pedigree as a quality player for Nick Saban at Alabama will also intrigue teams looking for immediate help. The Crimson Tide have a well-deserved reputation for churning out NFL talent. Williams is the type of player who should be able to come in and start right away for most teams.

Fortunately for the Packers, they wouldn’t need to put him under that much pressure. Instead, they can let him spend the 2019 season learning both tackle positions. Bryan Bulaga is in the last year of his current deal which means Green Bay should be looking for a successor at right tackle.

That’s probably where Williams’ skill set fits best. He’s not an elite pass blocker, but he’s got enough mobility and strength to win against most guys. His ability to really mash blockers on the strong side would also help a team like Green Bay’s run game. Williams wouldn’t be a sexy pick for the Packers, but he’d be a quality addition for their offensive line.
