7. Taka Michinoku vs. Orange Cassidy (Joey Janela’s Spring Break III Part 1, Friday, April 5)

Joey Janela’s Spring Break events every WrestleMania weekend have become the highlight for any fan wanting to see dream matches they never realized they desired. The fun atmosphere of the Spring Break theme continues this year with two shows on back-to-back nights. Friday’s first event will see Taka Michinoku battle Orange Cassidy in another bizarrely delightful dream match.

Cassidy is a beloved independent wrestling star known for his endearing gimmick of lackadaisically delivering moves in slow and comedic fashion. The pairing with Michinoku is perfect as an underrated name from the Japan contingent in town for the week. Longtime fans love Michinoku for his time in WWE and will get to experience that nostalgia here. Spring Break will have a stacked card, but, on paper, this one should be the show-stealer.

6. Minoru Suzuki vs. Josh Barnett (GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, Thursday, April 4)

The variety of shows during WrestleMania week features something for everyone. A more serious look at wrestling with hard-hitting action closer resembling mixed martial arts will be displayed at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, presented by Game Changer Wrestling. Barnett will have the most appealing match on paper, on the show named after him.

New Japan legend Minoru Suzuki is not officially announced for any match on the NJPW/ROH show just yet, but he will be facing Barnett here. Both men have legitimate pasts in MMA that will likely add to the action here. Any fans wanting to see two credible fighters beat the heck out of each other should tune into Bloodsport, especially since it could be the only singles match for Suzuki during the week.
