High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

James Harden (at SAC – $12,400): Needs 52.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 75.2 fantasy points against Sacramento. James Harden is still playing big minutes and if James Harden is still going to play big minutes, he’s going to put up big numbers. Especially against this matchup. He just had 75.2 fantasy points against the Kings and their style always lends itself to fantasy points. The concern is that the Rockets finally lay him less minutes. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMar DeRozan (vs ATL – $9,200): Needs 38.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.9 fantasy points against Sacramento. DeRozan was down a bit against the Kings but I’m not too concerned. This is another strong matchup for him and it’s a slow night at the position. The issue is that this might not be his game, as good as the matchup is. It feels more like an Aldridge game as the Hawks don’t have a frontcourt presence. But the ceiling is high. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (vs DEN – $7,400): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.2 fantasy points against Charlotte. Don’t put much stock into the Hornets game as Klay didn’t play many minutes in the blowout. And even though he’s been under 30 fantasy points in five straight, there a lot to like in this matchup. He had 56.6 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Mar. 8 and 44.1 fantasy points against them on Jan. 15. The Warriors will take this matchup seriously which means Klay will be on his game. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
