Dwayne Haskins. 3. player. 31. . Quarterback. Ohio State

There are reports out there that the New York Giants and New York Jets already have a trade in place for the No. 3 overall pick, and it could mean a new quarterback for the G-Men. They have stood on the Eli Manning hill all offseason, stating that he could have a few more years left in him, but they cannot afford to pass on a quarterback for a second straight year.

Last year, the Giants held the No. 2 overall pick, and instead decided to pass on Sam Darnold, and select Penn State running back Saquon Barkley. While Barkley proved himself to be a special player last season, the Giants still have a gaping hole behind Manning at quarterback, and Dwayne Haskins could be the answer.

The Giants had dinner with Haskins prior to his Pro Day, and you have to think they came away impressed. Not only can he make all the throws on the field, but he seems to be an incredible student of the game off of it, and that will make him a special player at the next level.

Manning had a solid season in 2018, setting a career high in completion percentage, and finishing with a 21-to-11 touchdown to interception ratio. However, he is also 38-years old, and you have to think that the time is coming very soon where he takes the kind of dip in the wrong direction that his brother Peyton did a couple of seasons ago.
