High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Goran Dragic (vs BOS – $6,500): Needs 28.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.7 fantasy points against Boston. Dragic is in the starting lineup because the Heat are running out of backcourt players. He’s coming off a big game against the Celtics and the Celtics have no real reason to give much of an effort right now. Meanwhile, Miami continues to play for that final playoff spot. I like his game overall and even though his salary has jumped, he’s a reliable option given the circumstances. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Reggie Jackson (vs IND – $5,500): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.2 fantasy points against Indiana. As long as Blake Griffin is out of the lineup, Jackson will continue to get the opportunities to run the offense and pick up his scoring. The Pacers are pretty much locked into their seeding and while they are good, these final games of the season are going to comedown to effort. And the Pistons will play with effort. Jackson remains at a good salary given his role with Griffin out of the lineup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Trey Burke (vs MIN – $4,900): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.7 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Burke has been great in the last two games because the Mavericks need someone to score with Luka and Hardaway Jr out of the lineup. And Burke can certainly score. And he should have no problem scoring against the Timberwolves in a game where defense will most definitely be optional. Burke remains at a good salary given his production as of late and as long as the Mavs still have injuries, Burke will get it done. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
