High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

D’Angelo Russell (vs TOR – $8,300): Needs 39.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. There are plenty of high ceiling options above Russell but they are going to cost more and I don’t like them as much for various reasons. I like Russell because he’s rolling right now and this has been his matchup throughout the season. He had 56.4 fantasy points against the Raptors on Feb. 11 and he’s averaging 47.2 fantasy points against them in three games. He should deliver once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Andrew Wiggins (at DAL – $7,100): Needs 30 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.4 fantasy points against Portland. The games are meaningless for Wiggins and maybe that’s why he’s now the best player in the league. I still have my reservations with him but something is clicking (likely the circumstances) and while he continues to play well, you may as well take him. Especially against this matchup where defense isn’t going to be much of a thing. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Delon Wright (at POR – $7,000): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.6 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Wright continues to be fantastic for a Grizzlies team that is just lacking players right now. The Blazers defense has still taken a step back and even though the Grizzlies don’t have a great offense, someone has to get numbers for them. And Wright hasn’t definitely been getting numbers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
