4. Defensive Prowess

While the Vikings do have the potential to have a potent offense, they are going to have to rely on their stout defense to shut the door on Sundays. Luckily for the Vikings, they already have that. With a defense filled with star players and key depth, Minnesota has the ability to shut down any offense. Last year, the Vikings defense racked up a total of 50 sacks with 14.5 coming from their superstar Danielle Hunter.

However, the Vikings do play in one of the most offensive fire powered divisions. With six games against the Lions, Bears, and Packers, the Vikings will have to keep up their defensive game from last year if they want to win the majority of their division games.

The Vikings have all the right pieces on the defensive side of the ball, but it’s up to them to make sure they can put it all together on the field come September.
