42. . Edge. Ohio State. Nick Bosa. 2. player

The San Francisco 49ers already added to their pass rush this offseason, with their biggest move being bringing in Dee Ford from the Kansas City Chiefs. Ford is a legitimate threat on the outside at getting after the quarterback, and you have to think he instantly improves this roster at the position.

Still, with the No. 2 overall pick in April, it is going to be hard for the 49ers to pass up on Nick Bosa, who has game-changing ability at the edge rusher spot. Bosa sat out most of his final season at Ohio State to get over an injury, but should be ready to go for whichever team selects him later this month.

This is year three of the Kyle Shanahan/John Lynch marriage, as both men were brought in at the same time on five-year deals. While there has been excitement surrounding the team since their arrival, it has not equated to many wins, which means they are starting to get to make-or-break mode.

San Francisco was bitten terribly by the injury bug last season, and that played a huge role in their struggles, and why they are picking at No. 2 overall in 2019. Bosa is going to be a stud at the next level, but if the 49ers feel they are set on the edge, they could trade back, or select Alabama’s Quinnen Williams with this pick.
