2019 NFL mock draft: Dwayne Haskins heads to Giants
By Brad Weiss
We are inching ever so close to the 2019 NFL Draft, and with nearly two weeks left until Round 1 kicks off, let us look at our latest 2019 NFL mock draft.
The 2019 NFL Draft will begin on April 25, as the first round will be brought to the fans live from Nashville, Tennessee. As we wait patiently for that day to get here, it is never too early to predict at what the first round could look like this year.
Here is our latest 2019 NFL mock draft.
No big surprise here, as Kyler Murray has been our No. 1 draft pick for quite some time now. While the Arizona Cardinals did move up in the first round to get a quarterback in last year’s draft, Murray makes too much sense for new head coach Kliff Kingsbury’s offense, and should be the first name called.
All the talk about Murray has not gotten to Josh Rosen on the outside looking in, as he was the first one in the building when the Cardinals kicked off their team workouts this past week. For all the talk about his work ethic, that was a great sign for the first-year head coach.
There has been plenty of talk of the Cardinals trading away Rosen, but they would at least require one first round pick in return. There is a real chance that both Rosen and Murray are on the roster when the season kicks off in September, making for an interesting quarterback room in Kingsbury’s first season at the helm.
