James Harden (vs UTA – $12,300): Needs 53.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 57.5 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. It’s time for Harden to shine. He forced the Jazz last season and there’s really no stopping Harden when he gets going. The Jazz will make life toughen him but I’m just not doubting round one Harden. He’s not gassed out just yet. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Donovan Mitchell (at HOU – $9,400): Needs 40.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 62.4 fantasy points against Denver. Mitchell is listed as questionable but I don’t see him missing this game. And if he plays, I assume he’s going to be effective. He’s the top offensive option for the Jazz and this will be his time to shine. Someone has to deliver for Utah. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Players costing $6,667 or under

Dennis Schroder (at POR – $5,400): Needs 23.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 52.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Schroder can be all over the place but he ended the season strong and. He’s going to get big minutes off the bench of OKC. And with the Blazers lacking depth due to injuries, Schroder is definitely a guy who can take advantage of them. He’s streaky, but when he’s on, he’s huge. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Jaylen Brown (vs IND – $4,800): Needs 20.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27.6 fantasy points against Washington. No Marcus Smart should mean more Jaylen Brown. He’s a guy I loved last year in the playoffs because I know he can raise his game in this situation. He’s been all over the place this season as the Celtics have been kind of a mess. But I trust him here. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
