2. Philadelphia Eagles

Much like the Bills, the Philadelphia Eagles took a step back in 2018. On the other edge of that sword, though, it wasn’t nearly as significant of a regression. Although they won just nine games on the year, the Eagles were able to advance to the NFC Divisional Round in the playoffs. The future is bright in Philly.

Entering their fourth year together, the head coach/quarterback duo of Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz provides offensive stability. On that end, the Eagles will always be competitive. As in Buffalo, an elite defensive unit that supports a young quarterback is a great thing to have.

Allowing the 12th-most points per game on the seventh-highest rushing yards total a season ago, adding Clark into the fold to serve as another big body on the edge could work wonders. Those 10 tackles for loss mentioned earlier would come in handy.

With well over $20 million in cap room at its disposal, trading for Clark wouldn’t hurt the team too much. Holding a pair of both second and fourth-round selections in the 2019 NFL Draft, is it time for the Eagles to go all-in for another Super Bowl run? Only time will tell…
