High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Kevin Durant (at LAC – $8,400): Needs 38.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.25 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Durant is typically reliable, even when he doesn’t have a. Good game. But this feels like a game where Durant is going to have a big game based on the circumstances. He hears the chatter and we know Durant can deliver big. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Ben Simmons (at BKN – $7,700): Needs 36.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 55.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Simmons bounced back in Game 2 and while the Nets will adjust, he remains a high ceiling. You can go with Gallinari if you want a more reliable option because Gallinari is always a reliable option. But if you want the higher ceiling, Simmons is your man. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Andre Iguodala (at LAC – $4,400): Needs 20.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21 fantasy points against LA Clippers. It’s playoff Iguodala and with Cousins out of the lineup, Iguodala will continue to get strong minutes alongside the four All-Stars. Well, three All-Stars and Kevin Durant. He remains at a great salary given his minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Landry Shamet (vs GS – $3,800): Needs 17.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.5 fantasy points against Golden State. I don’t know how much I trust Shamet because I expect the Warriors will be better. But I like role players and good shooters at home. And Shamet is a role player and great shooter. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
