High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Lou Williams (vs GS – $8,700): Needs 38 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 58.9 fantasy points against Golden State. I’m not in the business of doubting Lou Williams. Not in the playoffs and not against the Warriors. He’s their best offensive option and he’s been fantastic this series. There are some strong shooting guard options but Lou has proven himself in a big way. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

D’Angelo Russell (vs PHI – $8,000): Needs 34.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.4 fantasy points against Philadelphia. I know Russell wasn’t good in. Game 2 but the Nets are at home and I suspect they’ll be better at home. And we know Russell has a high ceiling. DeRozan is the more reliable option. If you want to spend more money. But Russell is at a good salary and could deliver in a big way given the matchup and salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Gary Harris (at SA – $5,800): Needs 25.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. Harris has been good in this series and while the Spurs are tough at home, Harris is a calming presence that they are going to need in this game. He should be at value if nothing else but I wouldn’t expect the big games we’ve seen out of him thus far. That said, the minutes and opportunities will be there. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Andre Iguodala (at LAC – $4,200): Needs 18.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.3 fantasy points against LA Clippers. Playoff Iguodala continues to be a thing and with Cousins out of the lineup, they will go to the Death Whatever Lineup more often for the rest of the playoffs. He’s going to get the minutes and opportunities and he remains at a great salary based on those minutes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
