High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Damian Lillard (vs OKC – $10,000): Needs 43.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.6 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Lillard may have been down in the last game but I’m not worried about him. Not in a closeout game at home. The Thunder haven’t won on the road in the playoffs in years. They probably won’t start now. Meanwhile, Lillard has been amazing for most of this series and I trust that to continue. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jamal Murray (vs SA – $7,300): Needs 31.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.4 fantasy points against San Antonio. Murray has been up-and-down in this series because that’s Murray’s game. But I still like him overall, especially at home. The Nuggets will bring it in this game and we know Murray is capable of a huge outing when he has it going. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Derrick White (at DEN – $6,500): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 19.3 fantasy points against Denver. White has been up-and-down in this series but he still gets big minutes and has shown a high ceiling. There just isn’t much to like at the value guard position. White at least has shown that he can contribute in a big way and I’m always going to trust the Spurs over other teams. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Spencer Dinwiddie (at PHI – $5,000): Needs 21.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.8 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Dinwiddie hasn’t had a huge game but he’s been consistent enough and that’s lacking in the value point guard position. Other guys may have a high ceiling but Dinwiddie is at least a reliable option at a decent price. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
