High Salary Guards

Players costing over $12,000

Stephen Curry (at LAC – $14,500): Needs 64 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.6 fantasy points against LA Clippers. This feels like a Steph Curry game to me. He didn’t get enough shots in Game 5 and usually when a player on the Warriors doesn’t get enough shots in a loss, they get all the shots in the following game. Expect Steph to be much better in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Lou Williams (vs GS – $14,000): Needs 60.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.8 fantasy points against Golden State. Lou is Lou and I have a tough time doubting him in this one based on everything he’s shown in this series. He can be streaky but he typically finds a way to get buckets. He’ll need to be great once again. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Patrick Beverley (vs GS – $11,500): Needs 50.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.8 fantasy points against Golden State. Beverley has shown up in a big way in these last two games and while I still have some doubts because he’s Patrick Beverley, you know the minutes and opportunities are going to be there. And if he can keep shooting like this, then there’s no reason to go away from him. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
