DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – April 29, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,250
Damian Lillard (at DEN – $9,200): Needs 44.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 77.75 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Lillard was amazing in the first round but he’ll have a tougher time against the Nuggets. They’ll do a better job than the Thunder defense because they are a better team. But Lillard is Lillard should not be doubted in this moment. He will deliver again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Kyle Lowry (vs PHI – $6,800): Needs 32.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.25 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Lowry was fine in Game 1 as it was all about Kawhi with a little Siakam mixed in. But he’s been playing relatively well in the playoffs since the first game against Orlando and will obviously get the minutes and chances. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
Jamal Murray (vs POR – $6,500): Needs 30.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against San Antonio. I love Murray in this game. I’m not entirely sold on the Blazers defense with Kanter. I think it was more of the Thunder not having. The right people to take advantage of them. Murray is a player who can take advantage of Kanter with his scoring. He’s streaky but the ceiling is high. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
High Value PG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Malik Beasley (vs POR – $3,600): Needs 16.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 12.75 fantasy points against San Antonio. There isn’t a whole lot to like at the value point guard position. But Beasley gets some minutes and can contribute. VanVleet also gets decent enough minutes but for some reason I just like Beasley to at least get you value. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
