Kawhi Leonard (vs PHI – $9,700): Needs 39.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 68.2 fantasy points against Philadelphia. As I said prior to the last game, Kawhi is the best player in this series and he showed in Game 1. We know Kawhi can raise his game in the playoffs and I have no doubt about him in this series. Maybe he doesn’t put up 45 points again, but I’m not going to doubt him in any game in this series. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Maurice Harkless (at DEN – $5,400): Needs 22.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.9 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Harkless was very good in the OKC series but wasn’t good in the regular season against Denver, averaging just 11.2 fantasy points in three games against them. He’s going to get the minutes in this series and we know he has a good ceiling. But I need to see him prove it a bit. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

JJ Redick (at TOR – $4,500): Needs 18.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.4 fantasy points against Toronto. Redick was fine in Game 1 and his salary is low enough to where he’s probably not going to hurt you. The minutes and shots are there and he can get hot. I like him as a salary saver and he should get around value just based on minutes and opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
